Welcome

After a long day of touring the city or working hard, the “Trento nel verde” B&B is the ideal place to stop. Near, yet at the same time far from the centre, you will be surrounded by greenery; nature and a beautiful view will be your sole companions.

The 5000 m2 park

The “Trento nel Verde” B&B Park includes a wood, a garden, and a (private) fruit orchard.
The park has two ample bathrooms with showers outside the homes. Graduation parties or receptions – in suitable weather – can therefore be celebrated in the Villa’s park.

Graduation Party and Receptions

On the ground floor of the Villa, in addition to two spacious bedrooms, there is a hundred-square-metre living room with a screen and projector for meetings and conferences. It is possible to rent a part of the ground floor of the villa together with the park for receptions accommodating up to 40/50 people. Contact the owners to make arrangements.

Panoramic Veranda

On the same floor, there is a veranda for breakfasts, where all the “Trento nel Verde” B&B guests meet: both those from inside the villa and those who are staying in the annex. From the veranda, it is possible to look out over the Val d’Adige, and the Bondone and Paganella mountains.

An early twentieth-century liberty style villa

The B&B is located in Mesiano, on the hill east of Trento, just a few metres from the University of Engineering. It is well-served by public transport (bus line no. 5), and has an ample parking area inside the property.

The property itself is made up of two buildings: an early Twentieth-century, Liberty-style villa and an annex, all surrounded by a 5000 square-metre park.

The property is confined by the Fersina river gorge on the north-eastern side, by the Salita Filippo Manci rise on the southern side, and by Via Mesiano on the eastern side.

The B&B rooms are named after the mountains that surround the capital city:
Inside the Villa there are the rooms called Paganella and Bondone, while the annex is home to the Cimirlo room and the Vigolana mini-apartment.

The annex

A hundred metres from the villa there is an annex., also used for Bed & Breakfast accommodation, like the ground floor of the Villa itself. Inside the annex, there are two alternatives available for rent: the Vigolana. mini-apartment, made up of a room with an adjacent kitchen and a private bathroom, or a room with an adjacent windowed bathroom called Cimirlo..
It is also possible to rent the entire annex, i.e. an entrance, two rooms with two bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room.

Ample parking

The parking area, reserved for guests, has room for eight cars, and also includes a parking space for disabled guests, the closest to the entrance ramp.
The parking lot can also accommodate Westfalia mini camper vans (and other similar models), since the parking lots are equipped with industrial EEC power outlets.
Mini camper van owners can also make use of two outdoor bathrooms with washbasins and showers.

Recharging service for electric vehicles

Our B&B is even more green!
The interior parking area is also equipped with four industrial electrical power outlets (220 V, 16 A, 2P + E type), where it is possible to recharge electric cars, bicycles or motorcycles.
We also have all the all the necessary adaptors.

Piazza duomo, castello del buonconsiglio and muse museum

Don‘t miss the top 3 trento’s attractions

Piazza Duomo

Piazza Duomo è una delle piazze rinascimentali più belle d’Italia. Nei pressi vi aveva residenza Cesare Battisti. Interessante la fontana del Nettuno con il tridente che rappresenta i 3 colli che attorniano la città di Trento.

The Castello del Buonconsiglio

Nel Castello del Buonconsiglio vi hanno soggiornato i principi vescovi; le mura raccontano diverse epoche storiche e v’è la loggia del Romanino. La Torre Aquila racchiude gli affreschi delle diverse stagioni.

The MUSE

Il Muse è il modernissimo museo interattivo di scienze naturali disegnato da Renzo Piano che apre le porte al quartiere le Albere costruito con le più avanzate teconologie di risparmio energetico.

About us

Paola and Fabio’s home is in an excellent position. It overlooks the city of Trento and is surrounded by greenery. The historical villa reveals great attention to detail both outside and inside. Hot water, controllable heating, a comfortable bed and perfect lighting. Breakfast is served in a panoramic glass space within a private garden where you can walk around. Paola and Fabio are kind and discrete. I think their Bed & Breakfast is the best solution for visiting Trento as well as a cosy place to stay for long business or study trips.

Really beautiful place. Art Deco style. State of the art facilities. Breakfast was served in an glass-closed balcony with an unique view over Trento. Everything is new, nice and cosy.

Eine schöne Unterkunft mit einem tollen Ausblick in ruhiger Lage.

The house is majestic. It has a very beautiful view, which gives you the best start to your day! It is near the historical centre and it is very clean and… brand new!

The facility is high up over Trento, and it has a spectacular view. There is a convenient stop just 100 m away where you can get a bus into town. The breakfast buffet is Italian style (no savoury dishes), with a variety of jams.

The room was very clean. The position is close to the Faculty of Engineering, 15 minutes on foot from the centre, or by bus from the stop which is right in front. Abundant breakfast, and kind and welcoming hosts. I would suggest it to those who need to go to the Faculty of Engineering or to the Scientific hub, and to tourists.

In the surrondings of the b&b

The historical Centre of Trento

The historical centre of Trento is in walking distance. It is easy to walk down along the Salita Filippo Manci rise – actually, anyone can walk down, but only those who are in good shape should walk back up again. Along the way, there are all kinds of plants to see, and you come to the Cornicchio bridge over the waterfall that provides water to Italy’s first hydroelectric plant (built by the Austro-Hungarian Empire).

The Orrido of Ponte Alto

The Orrido di Ponte Alto is just a Km from the “Trento nel Verde” B&B, and easily reachable by car. It is a deep canyon that can be visited on weekends by booking in advance. It was carved by the rough waters of the Fersina torrent over thousands of years. Here, in the Sixteenth century, some of the oldest water works in the world were built, to prevent flooding in the city. The two weirs create spectacular waterfalls, more than 40 metres high, which make their way through layers of red rock, creating spectacular light effects..

The Filippo Manci Rise

The “Trentino nel Verde” B&B is delimited to the south by the Salita Filippo Manci rise (Manci was one of Garibaldi’s soldiers), which divides the B&B facility from the little church dedicated to Gianantonio Manci (a partisan). Walking down the Salita Manci rise, you reach the historical centre in just a couple of kilometres. This route is worth following because it crosses particularly interesting natural and historical environments. Beware of the climb back up. If you are not in good shape, it is best to take bus no. 5 in Piazza Venezia and get off in Mesiano.

Where are we

Where are we:

Climbing up from Trento towards Povo you come to a sign, on the right-hand side, for Mesiano. A few metres further on, on the same side, there is a small public parking lot with 5 parking spaces. You have arrived. The gate is on your left-hand side. If, on the other hand, you are driving down towards Trento, the small parking lot is on the left before the sign marking the end of Mesiano [“fine Mesiano”].

Trento nel Verde

Trento nel Verde is a family-run B&B. Paola and Fabio are the ones who run it, and who will welcome you. However, you may also meet their children: Marco, Chiara and Francesca.

We try to socialise, even in French or English, only if the guests wish to do so. We leave them plenty of independence, but we are happy to chat if the opportunity arises.
Don’t hesitate to ask for information. We are here for you.
